Initiatives Taken to Spread Broadband Solutions in Africa
Satellite-powered
broadband solutions at schools in rural Africa are being opened up to local
communities. There are more than 35 million children in Africa currently not
going to school, with more than 75% of those in rural areas. In total ¼ the of
African children are illiterate, and even those children in school are almost
two years behind their international counterparts. As part of the drive to
close that educational gap, we at Afrikanet have planned to provide broadband
solutions across Africa which bring high-speed internet connectivity so that
it is easy for children and people in Africa to stay updated with the current
world.
AfrikaNet,
an international satellite company with outreach in almost all countries in
Africa.! With the support of our funding partners, we have been installing
satellite-powered broadband solutions in rural areas in an initiative to make
Africa educated more. Since the project has not been in action for much time,
we still have some impact in all these rural areas. However, we want our high-speed internet solutions to reach every house in Africa. So that it is easy for
people to learn more digitally.
When people
that ever had access to computers or the Internet solutions started actively
using and engaging with this technology, the possibilities of what this can
turn into are endless. Arikanet is a
sustainable digital inclusion initiative which is focused on providing
affordable, superfast satellite broadband solutions to schools and other local
communities across Africa.
Solar-powered
Wi-Fi hotspots, satellite internet connections, b broadband solutions, and all
other things are being made available in different parts of Afric. Consumers
and local businesses can also benefit a lot
from connectivity by using our broadband solutions. We believe that we can deliver sustainable broadband
solutions to every part of Africa.
