Develop Africa with broadband solutions for Africa
In
2008 Google announced plans to invest in internet broadband solutions for three
billion people in Africa and other countries. The aim of this project was to
bring high-speed internet access via a satellite broadband service provider in
Africa and elsewhere in the world with the project starting in 2010.
The The use of mobile phones in the developing world is increasing and in order to keep
up with the growing demand, AfrikaNet planned to provide broadband solutions for Africa. With the
difficulties involved in laying fiber cables across the remote terrain of
Africa a broadband solution can overcome these problems to offer a higher
broadband speed. This technology can deliver internet connectivity to any
location in Africa.
AfrikaNet
is dedicated to helping web users in Africa receive better, faster, more
reliable internet access. The advantages of having high-speed broadband
solutions in Africa will help to grow the economic, social, and educational
standards of the developing world as well as have more locally generated
content. Until now fixed phone lines that allow everyone else in the world to
join the internet network of services are virtually nonexistent across the
continent.
AfrikaNet

through satellite for the African market. We can also provide SCPC services and
all the Hubs are usually managed from the Company’s Network Centre in London.
